Worth to get it now? Don't seem to see any news of new version going to be released..

I originally intended to get one to use as home theater comp, but then I could not find any info if the Mac mini supports pass through of Hd audio (DTS MA, Dolby True HD, etc) via the HDMI port to an audio receiver? Anyone know?

Mac mini is selling at a premium compare to other such as intel small form factor pc. It is not worth getting just for home theater. 2013 late model is the one that come with I7 cpu. Newer model all have I5 top. Your choice is probably other brand of similar size form factor. Look up to zotac which offer better deal
