Macbook 2015 Recommendations

Hi Bros

Do you all have any recommendations for any 2015 Macbooks (Air/Pro) for someone who is merely using it for work and heavy research work. No special editing whatsoever.

Also, can I have some recommendations regarding the specs? 8GB RAM or 16 GB RAM; 512GB Harddisk or 1TB Harddisk?
