Right, so you could get a replacement cover somewhere in Sim Lim Square from those shops who have replacement parts. What's your next move?

If i'm going to replace the Polarizing film, I think i'm going to be a bit of skill required to do this! Saw the instructions on youtube where the Lcd is 1mm thin and will crack if not careful.

Have u done this before?? Any idea on cost?

What would you plan to do? Upgrade and use this as spare :grin:

Have not check on the cost of replacement film or LCD screen.

As mentioned, probably the ROI of changing the LCD or replacing the P film will not justify. Will just use it as desktop & connect to HDMI with monitor for now.

Nope. It would be better to have someone who is experienced to do it.

Time to wait and upgrade to the new MBA !

Using 2013 rMBP.... hope can last 2-3 more years before upgrading.
