Macbook Air Screen Not Working

Opened the flap too rough (not me)
I suspect the connector broke
I connected to TV via cable, mba itself works perfectly
Only the macbook screen displays black screen with a few whitish lines
I’ve checked with Astar, they said they would just replace the whole screen even if it’s only the connector that spoilt, which costs $600++
What should I do?

You can do a DIY (even a girl can do it)


Search part name in Lazada/Taobao. Should be much cheaper than shop repair.
