Hi guys,
My kid spilled water on the keyboard and it's now can't be turned on nor charged.
It has Apple care+, cover until next year April.
Do Apple service centers repair water damaged Macbook?
I understand that warranty doesn't cover water damage.
Thanks.

Unfortunately the warranty will not cover water damaged laptops.
Don't turn on the laptop.
Consider using the rice trick.

Wait a bit and see if it can be turned on to recover your data.

Water with dust has the potential to corrode sensitive electronic parts inside the MacBook Air. Hence, the service center will have to replace the parts affected by water.

I've used a Macbook Air for one of our conferences and turns out a crew accidently spilled beer on it. Total loss. Sold to a vendor who offered S$300.00 for parts.

You have to pay for any repairs to be done. Had the same issue with my MBA - they charged about 150 for a trackpad change. I couldn't start up my MBA either, and I figured it was more worth it to have it repaired professionally.
