macbook air with win7

hi all im interested to get a macbook air and install win7 in it via boot camp,

may i know which year's MBA will be the most suitable one
dont mind getting second hand and where can i get em for the best price?

Seem like window 7 is supported by Macbook before the year 2014..

That will mean you cannot install on idevice that are year 2015 onwards

Anw where will I be able to get MacBook Air cheaper than the refurbished ones or should I just go for refurbished one?

go for refurbish one, simply because it possible to get additional warranty (apple care)

you see the link i have provided. It support MacBook Air (13-inch, Early 2014) and (11-inch, Early 2014). No mention that window 7 is supported for year 2015 onwards

FYI that I have just tried to install window 7 32 bit in Macbook Pro late 2011 model. The driver cannot be installed initially. google and read and finally resolved it.

Good luck to you.. You probably need to prepare to do more self-reading and solve your own problem if the driver cannot be installed in year 2014 macbook air.

Have been using Windows my whole life... But always wanted to go to the apple side... Scared the compatibility of programs and stuff...
I do Lightroom and photoshop. It will be used for my traveling and editing on the go.

Win 7 support mba up to late 2013 I think. I owned a late 2013 and I installed win 7 with boot camp. Boot camp installer will auto download the supported driver for u so u Don have to worry abt driver issue.

Well do you have a list of software apart from Adobe you need to use on your new macbook?

If it's only adobe solution that is critical for you then you do not have to worry as for photoshop and other adobe solution works much better on apple product.

Also just let you know even the latest macbook air can run windows on parallel as i am using both windows and OSX on my macbook pro and my brother using macbook air

Why not get 13" MBA? At least it has a SD card slot.. which I use it to increase my storage by popping in a 64GB micro SD card for just $25.
