As I am making a switch to MacBook for the first time and have bought macbook m1 air recently, I would appreciate it very much if users of this laptop to share what some accessories they find are useful. It would be better if they could indicate the brand, the estimated price and where they bought it from. Tks.
Eg. Usb c hub - anker or other possible brand

Would it be cool if you share what sort of devices you might be using? because that pretty much suggest what sort of accessories you might need

Oic. Am using an anker usb c hub for one of my MacBooks. Not sure whether there are better brands as I might buy another cheaper usb c hub (with not so many ports) for another m1 air MacBook. Think eventually might want to get a new monitor to connect to my laptop bcos my present monitor is already more than 12 years. Don’t know what size and brand is suitable and good. Think Apple monitors are expensive so most probably looking at other brands. Only need to connect to one monitor. Tks.

Tks for sharing. I will think whether casing is necessary but this is not urgent for me. I need to install Microsoft Office into my 2 m1 MBA (one for personal use & another for family member). Is there Microsoft Office software version specially for Apple computers? What is the cheapest cost for Microsoft Office Home & Student and where to get it? I am still deliberating whether to subscribe for Office 365 online or buy the Office software from the computer store to get the staff to load it for me. I know it is necessary to install anti-virus software for Windows laptops. Is it necessary for MacBooks?
