Macbook Pro dented, any fixes?

I have a one year old laptop that I chipped/dented yesterday. Can’t get over the fact that it happened to my laptop. Went to Apple Service Centre and they told me that it is not worth to pay $428 to replace the laptop (I have AppleCare+).

only fix is to live with it or pay $428 to replace the laptop.

Actually it looks superficial in terms of dent except maybe the colour difference.

the only way is to replace. You can try 3rd party providers but I am doubtful it will be worth it or if they provide any at all since this is more cosmetic.

the next best is to just try to get some paint to colour it back to make it look less obvious.

Are you looking to sell it? If not, then I don't think you need to waste money to fix this. The chassis is full metal, so if you don't use any casing, it is highly possible to scratch or dent it. At worst just buy a cover to protect/ wrap the machine. It is more economical than paying 400+ to get it fixed, assuming you really must find some way to conceal this cosmetic issue.
