Gd morning all,

I currently holding a old MBP mid 2010. Solid unit I must say. But being old mean started to show some issue so looking for some advise.

The start up and load up file is slow. I am now on the OS after snow leopard. I think is Serria something. Did a reset and updated all recommended update but still slow in start up and even to open a Microsoft file. I do not have huge data store in file and I only use Macoffice only. I am toying the idea to reset it clean, followed the step in Apple store which is meant preparing mac for sale.

Any expert advise I can tap from?

13 years old laptop and you still using? Salute! My MBP 15" intel 4th Gen i7 highest end (non custom spec) Late 2013 already in my drawer rotten since 2018 despite now still as good as new, change new retina display and new battery from apple. I decided to stop using it after 5 years, slow af with the slower NVME, i already cannot take it.

You still tell me 13 years. 😅 How you even use? Now my mac mini M2 Pro shiok! Fast and snappy then by 2026 I will change out.

The new scary fast MBP just got release and in a stunning space black. 😏
