hi, you see there were some stains on my mouse pad, so i use a piece of tissue, drop a couple of drops of water on it and start rubbing and wiping my mouse pad...

now the entire mouse has gone bonkers, meaning it keep moving by itself, clicking on stuffs, opening files, running all over the place which i had no control over...

please advise how to fix or where to bring to fix.

It could be 2 situations, hopefully it's the first one.

1 - the trackpad still not dry causing the erratic behaviour, use a dry cloth and try to clean it thoroughly but DO NOT put too much pressure as you might damage the trackpad

2 - You have put too much pressure while cleaning the trackpad causing it to be damaged, place your macbook pro on flat surface and have a look at the trackpad and see if the any part of it looks like it's pressed in. you can try pressing a bit to try release it otherwise you might need to open up the macbook to try fix it. you can find guides in www.ifixit.com

You can go to SLS, there are a few mac repair shops at the upper floors.

if the water droplet soak into the side and is trapped between the touch pad and the next layer, it is super hard to dry wan.

your situation is more of situation 1 becos if the water spoil the touchpad, the cursor will not move at all. thats my opinion.

if future, use alcohol to wipe any stains.
