MacBook Pro Retina 15" Screen Crack

Hi,

Currently using MacBook Pro 15". Recently, I realised my screen is cracked on a places. Its not really the whole LCD crack, its more like chipping of on the surface of the screen.

I would like to check if;
1) this is covered by warranty?
2) If there is a way to only replace the top panel instead of the whole screen?
3) What is the cost?

It's commonly referred to as stain gate

Does your screen look similar to the one as the one shown at the link?
If so, they'll probably replace it.

Retina screens if replaced the entire top half or your macbook will be changed. This means you'll get a new better body as well.
