Am running a late 2013 MacBook Pro Retina on Sierra 10.12.16. I noticed that there is some soft static coming from my left speaker a few days back. Today it's gotten louder. Any ideas on how I can resolve this?

Probably due to age? My early 2010 also same... I ended up with using ear phones.

Most probably the speaker cone is damaged.
