Hi guys,

just dropped my 2015 12" MB and it landed on the corner of the screen. The glasses didnt shatter but there is one bright thin line diagonally down from the top right corner of my screen to the centre. About 15cm.

Do anyone know the rough cost of the repair? I can still use the laptop without any problem but its alittle irritating. But if the repair costs an arm or leg i might have to live with it.

i went to a-lab and they gave me a rough quotation about 800 to 1000 dollars. if ur unit is out of warranty u might want to consider getting it done elsewhere instead. otherwise if its within warranty period advisable not to.

wow.. looks like i should just use it and only repair it when the screen is cheap to replace next time.

its almost the price of a new mb. yours is 12" as well?

mines a 13" pro... have u tried to source other places like in sim lim etc etc?
