Hi all, planning to upgrade my mac but have few questions to ask, hope some experts can answer :)

1) What are the reputable shops to upgrade SSD and RAM?
2) And how much will each usually cost?
3) Why are smaller capacity SSDs recommended over larger ones?

Thank you :)

1 - honestly I recommend doing self-upgrade as it's not that hard, refer to www.ifixit.com for guides
2 - See the guide on ifixit and you decide how much you're willing to pay someone to have it done for :p
3 - I've not heard of this info, I've used 60GB, 250GB, 500GB SSDs and don't see any differences.

If you prefer to let the professional do it I would recommend MacLife at SLS however don't expect the SSD and memory to be cheaper than Amazon.
