Planning to go machu pichu this coming Oct and 1 more place since already fly so far. Wife suggested Iguazu.
Anyone been to these places, please share your experiences.

Initially thought of self plan, but perhaps not so ideal as we only have 2 weeks. Saw trafalgar travel or country holidays offering such iternary. Anyone took their package before, share your experience too.

they are quite far away from each other and you would waste time traveling back and forth.

you need 4 days at Iguazu, its beautiful. i think its better to stay in Peru and explore the country.

Are you doing the Inca trail? If you are, hope you have gotten the tickets. Tickets tend to sell out 4 months prior. Oct is a rainy season.

i've done the argentinian side. puerto iguazu is basically built to support tourism to iguazu falls. you can probably go anywhere and get a bus ride there. i probably spent 2.5 days there. arrived in the afternoon. found a place to sleep. got drunk. did iguazu the whole of the next day. came back, got drunk again and left the next morning.
