recently i sold my Macbook Air, and decided that i should get one of this.

they are the same price so i thought it would be a good comparison i guess?

what i normally use it for is
- Surf net
- see stocks
- school projects/test etc
- i kinda bring it out often as i dont study at home
- MIGHT have a tiny bit of autocad. but im not sure. MAYBE have only

yea so i just wanna see what do u all apple fans think i should get
which is better. because there is no other better place to ask other then asking
the professional apple fans here :)

Regards!

I would recommend at least Macbook Pro 13”. Macbook would satisfy most of your use cases except the autocad. In fact MBP 13” might still be not really suitable. a dedicated GPU only found in 15” would be more suitable. As for school projects/test, what kind of software do you anticipate? A macbook might be able to accommodate, but it would be better if you know the software you intend to use.

+1 for macbook pro 13"

The first 2 confirm no problem. Most laptops nowadays also can do. 3rd one is dependent on what kind of software you need for them. Office suite, iWork suite, Xcode, Apple Pro Apps and most of Adobe CC suite will run well enough. 4th one should be ok, get the 13" one without touchbar to maximise battery life. The dedicated GPU on the 15" models and touchbar will just use more battery. 5th one autocad may struggle abit depending on your workload. I haven't tried autocad on the 2017 MBP yet but if maya is any indicator the response won't be instant.
