Magnetic Charging Cable for Xperia

Hi fellow Xperia users, I have bought till date a few different magnetic charging cable, some from sls, one from tao bao, but what i notice is that they all charge slower compared to original sony charging dock(up to a factor of 50% or even more). Anyone facing similar issues? Or have encountered a good magnetic charging cable that charges as quick as the dock?

yes. the two i bot from taobao no good. besides charging slower, most time hang my phone when connected. so use back the original usb cable to charge.

This cable I bought from the shops near SLQ is performing well. Even when plugged into notebook USB slot, it charges faster than through charging by USB port on the phone...saw this as a SONY accessory on Japanese websites, not sure if this is OEM or genuine...same packaging as what I had.

I am also curious to know, those cable with Sony logo embedded, are they pirated, or are they produce by Sony or OEM.

Came with white and blue box with World cup Brasil (same logo as the Z2). Can buy from Taobao at cheaper price but long delivery time.

This link shows a lot... Sony prefers to sell with dock (+ a plastic box) for a much better profit...

Actually how fast is the magnetic charging with wifi, bluetooth and nfc function on? Its practically not charging at all on mine using the cable sold by jimmy.

I find it is funny how people thinks that the magnetic cable is from Sony even when they only sells the magnetic dock.

In China, they sell fruity phone lookalike running android OS.

No idea, who uses wifi + bluetooth + nfc at the same time.
My magnetic cable from jimmy is working well, no matter charging from Sony adapter or from laptop usb port.

anyone here play games / movies while using the magnetic charger? it seems like it doesn't charge well when using the phone, even a pop-up saying that the phone is discharging faster than charging.

On usb no problem for me, can use all i want and still charges
