have been using this for more than a month.
price has gone up since i first bought one for my iPhone 4, but the build still remains as solid.
note that shipping isn't free for all states in US, so i had to pay to have it sent to CGW.
sorry for the low-res pics, but i hope they are helpful. apologies in advance for the poor lingo too. without further ado...
front view with my matte power support screen protector. case has a little bit of lip to prevent your pristine screen from touching any surface, if placed face-down.
one thing to note is the tiny gap above the receiver and front facing camera, which is probably to ease removal of the case. edges are a little sharp but nothing harmful, so it's not a deal breaker for me.
sorry for the shadow.
power button has great feedback but not easily pressed if it's in your bag or pocket. the gap i mentioned in the above description is more obvious in the image below.
here, we have back view of the magpul logo and "waffle" design. the field case is not slippery, but not to rough to hold. the curved design of the iP6 is slippery but the case adds a bit of grip. the camera is not blocked and the ample space between the flash, lens and opening for the camera prevents any reflection or "back flash".
the lip i was referring to is clearer in the pic below. pretty precise cutouts for headphone jack, mic, lightning connector and speakers. if you do spot a cutout under my lightning connector, it's my matte black skin by bestskinsever - it's not another layer inside the field case.
i believe the cutouts will not allow certain cables and docks, but i haven't tried many so i can't comment on them. the original ones from apple don't seem to have any problems here.
overall, a great buy but the price could have been lower, but no regrets in any case. the case adds a noticeable amount of weight, but in no way does it hinder the way i use my phone.
magpul's website is constantly out of stock, and they are releasing different colours everytime they stock (pink, last i checked). my suggestion is to check out botach. you may need to arrange for a freight forwarder, though.
