Maid Home Leave alternative

Hi,

As we are hit by Covid, my helper is unable to return home on their home leave. Hence, she is requesting for monetary replacement of the home leave. Do we have any guidance on how much is a suitable rate for this? I emailed the maid agency and they didn't even bother to reply me. She is from Philippines.

Negotiate with ur helper ? Maybe at least a month salary or $700?

If they do not go back on home leave, you need to pay for the air tickets and half month salary if her home leave is 2 weeks. SO check the airtickets how much then you will know how much to give. Maid contract inside also got state that.
