Yeah that's why i kept saying earlier, UB is really enough.

I used the hdtv trial, is faster in switching channels only.

Maige and HDTV all will hang what.
Even SH and Mio can hang.

Unless you can do a full download, else which one can guarantee you.

Most of the UB have backup channels.

If you are talking about hardware hang, so far all my boxes never occur that on me.

If you are talking about channel hang, all the boxes i've experienced before including Maige, sure have what.

If HW hang, take out the power cable and let it reboot.
There's a "cleanup" button to clear memory.
If you are using a lot of apps, need to free the memory.

I'm having UB with HDTV trial in it.
Actually i'm using the UB app more than HDTV app due to more channels and VOD.

Ordered another android box to put HDTV and other stuffs for the least used screen in office.

I still prefer UB.
HDTV even if you pay full package at almost $100, only get you half the channels UB has. Somemore, HDTV has no VOD.
Talk about risk, both are standing on the same ship.
UB has unlimited subs.

In fact I'm planning to get another UB for another home screen

No point referring to Maige, because it's dead.
Or it will forever have one year 3-4 months can't use trying to be invisible to invade CN government attention.
No sane new users will be spending S$400 to buy that box again.
Their business is dead, so will their service.
It will be missed but no point looking back.

Last mth bought a M8S set top box and it hang badly...then end up i return back to the seller. Within 2days hang like 60times how to use....to be honest, maigetv never hang on me.

Hanging device is what i hate most...don't understand why it hang. I always buy device will kena this problem...duno is it just sheer luck...

Yes...60times. Each time it hang i have to plug out the power source from the box and plug in again to "reset" it...really. 60times. Same situation browsing the channels and apps it hang and when using kodi it hang. I have not even manage to watch 1 movie via kodi since i bought it. It keep hanging even after i do a reset to the device. Reset entire hard disk through setting as advice by seller. Problem still persist.

Normally hang is overheating issues.

If you open too many apps, sure uplorry.
Maige just one app, maybe auto clear cache when do certain actions.
