Only those who are citizens as at Feb 2015 can vote. Feb is cut off date. So being citizen one month before election is no use.

Just think of how much money PAP spent on People's Association and Pioneer Package, Town upgrading, Transport Subsidies(including free train rides before 730am) and etc.

Isn't that what citizens are asking for? More help for the poor, the old, the marginalised, for those with other needs ?

So we should be happy that the government is beginning to listen and now willing to spend more on these areas?

Source please? I voted in Aussie, I also got my citizenship 1 month before election. I don't think democratic country practice that by withholding voters by the length of their citizenship.
