Hi hi,

Anybody has attended any make up courses before? Thinking of learning some basic make up skills.

Looking around but not sure where to find...

A cousin of mine attended Cosmosprof but she said she regretted it. I dont know why.

Friends suggest School of Makeup by Peter Angel..They attested that makeup classes there had more hands-on exposure as compared to Cosmoprof..

School of makeup offers part-time positions with reputable makeup brands and also they have more exposure for students like makeup shows etc.. But fees I think is slightly more ex than cosmo..

Hi guys,

Luckily I did not apply for cosmoprof.

I saw an ad on make up classes on gumtree. stated there "FULLY subsidized cost by partnering companies and local TV broadcaster. Call 96998769 for enquires."

Am going to try out the class, since it is subsidized. :)

I took some online makeup courses last year when I wanted to up my skills, mostly for everyday looks and sometimes special events. It was all self-paced, so it fit around my schedule, and I liked getting personal feedback on my practice looks. Honestly, it gave me a good boost of confidence and I started experimenting with more styles than before, which was fun and way less intimidating than jumping straight into a classroom.

If you decide to go the online route or want more options, you might want to look at Online Makeup Academy. They’re pretty well known for their self-paced classes with feedback from pros, which helps if you’re serious about learning craft or maybe even want to turn it into a career later on.
