Hi my employer just submitted make up pay on my behalf (for jan-feb reservist)
Looking at the breakdown of the make up pay on NS.sg, I have some questions
1. working days per month -
it seems that NS does not factor in public holidays? eg jan was stated as 23 days for the calculation, likewise feb is 20 days. should be 22 working days in jan and 18 in feb.
2. make up claim is my gross pay without deducting cpf? the pay i'll receive from SAF does not deduct my employee contribution. does that mean company will deduct away the respective amount from hr payroll that i will receive?
i just hope i receive the pay that is intended and do not have to go through trouble between contacting ns/company hr for dispute as it seems based on point 1 stated above alone, i might be shortchanged. first time having to deal with MUP so i'm a little confused.
also last question, since i'm receiving civilian income loss from mindef (aka technically there should be no difference in net pay received and cpf contributions) does that mean i'm not entitled to the serviceman pay based on my rank?
