Hello, I will be visiting Taipei next month and would like to try out their famous Mala hotpots. Any recommendations from seasoned Taipei travelers?

I will be staying at Cityinn Taipei Main Station, if I would like to visit Tripod King (鼎王) for Mala steamboat, any idea which would be a nearer branch? Will it be 台北光復店 or 台北長安店?

Thanks in advance!

鼎王 is not buffet. It's a la carte.
So can be quite expensive.
Nearest branch will be 台北光復店吧。

My was 天外天

Yap. I tried that, cause we saw and faint at the queues for some mala restaurants.
So 天外天, usually is 2hrs limit too. But due to lesser crowd, chances are that they will let you stay longer.

Which one is better actually? 天外天 or Mala? Basically just want to try out mala hotpot in TW, but need somewhere with non spicy options too. Thanks!
