I am living at Jurong West St 65, 2nd floor. Just got the free HD antenna from Best Denki and when i scan only the free to air HD S'pore CH appeared. No msia channels. What can i do to receive the M'sia ch or is there any specific indoor antenna I should purchase? Thanks

Don't think your location can receive Malaysian digital channels well.

Generally residents in the North MAY be able to get M'sian channels, and those in the South MAY be able to get Indo channels.
The key word being MAY.
Your exact location, the height, all kinds of things matter. Short of moving.. if you can't, well, you can't.

I think ultimately it still depends on the location and the antenna u using lor. Any set top box should be able to tune to the channels as long as the signal is strong.

It’s not the set top box that’s the issue. Location is.

I see. Will stronger antenna help? Because since older antennae aerial can receive RTM and etc analog channels, odd that newer one cannot.

Hard to say exactly what happened.

It could well be that the analog RTM signal was broadcast using more power as compared to the digital RTM signal, which may be broadcast using less power since digital signals are more robust to interference.

In any case, what antenna are u using now? A passive one?

I understand that those people who had the IMDA $100 voucher used it to redeem powerful Funke antenna, so u might want to try this option.
