Which date did you miss? There are typically 2 dates. First one deactivates the line and makes it dormant. The final date terminates it.

IIRC have a few more days before the final date but lost access to the account cause cannot login through receiving TAC since the line is deactivated, it's likely beyond recovery.

Cannot receive TAC is cos u need a min amount inside to receive assuming you are roaming. I can’t remember. Rm5 or rm10

If possible try the line in Malaysia.

Oh yes, minimum of RM10 credit balance to roam, even when line is active stage.

I had 30+ rm inside, probably missed the termination date. Recall the app state that the sim is inactive and asked me top up to extend for 30 days.

Popped the sim in again one last time and no luck.

Anyway with so much bundled Malaysia data with the local sims, you don’t really need the SIM card anymore. Unless u need a number

I realised digi and Hotlink all need top up of min rm10 a month. The standard plan is like rm30 and can use every month. Maybe more worth since got free roaming in SG

Missed the renewal date for my hotlink and sadly it seems that the card has died and I am no longer able to login to the app.

Is hotlink pantas still the most cost effectively way to get a MY number that can receive SMS? I am just looking for a MY line with long expiry to receive SMS OTP for MY memberships.

Just an update, managed to convert to esim in the Hotlink app.

select ‘eSIM Manager’ in the Hotlink app.
There's a fee of RM5.

I don’t have this option. You are using the iOS Hotlink app? Using prepaid card?

I managed to do it on my iPhone that's updated to the latest iOS.

I've not been checking until today, saw the option now appeared in the app, and managed to do it (finally).

It may take a while with many tries scanning passport, facial too but took me shorter than passport-scanning.

XOX lately pattern more than badminton.

I'd suggest you check your account now coz many got changed to new one/s, and see what's changed or going to be changed.

I only know the yearly validity charge is higher now, I think they haven't changed my plan, but I've no mood to play with them so just leaving it alone for now.

I still have my old Hotlink and CelcomDigi lines to use, in the midst of giving up my Tune Talk lines as well.
