You think SG govt will be so stupid to let private companies, especially those tech firm where they can technically work from anywhere, move out to JB where they don't need to pay so much for office rent? Even if pay their existing staff in SGD, they give up one or two levels at MBFC also a lot of cost savings leh. And loss of government taxes.

I don’t have confidence this deal will carry on if their government change. The HSR is one good example in which the plan fell through after a change of government

The only way it has even a chance to work is to turn the SEZ into a Sing dollar zone to solve the so called talent problem. Singaporeans will not do weekend shopping there liao.
