this not about blaming organizations or whatever. its about breaking out of poverty. If one is not mentally and physically disabled in Singapore, they only got themselves to blame if they are struggling.

Being born poor is not your fault. Dying poor is definitely your fault.

One can choose to complain whine and blame externally, or improve, upgrade, change mindset and attitude internally.

i personally not born into a rich family. considered poor family with only my dad working and hes not in management level. But right now me and my wife is earning about 20 to 30k plus a month. Not bragging, just saying its all your personal mindset and attitude. No one owes us a living. Either one choose to succeed or be a complain king and blaming the govt haha..

There is two side of a coin over doing it allow ppl at fault not taking any accountability.
I stay rental flat when I was a kid. My combined income is no lesser than u.

Very often success is not just because of a person mindset, it has also to do with luck, ppl relationship and parents wealth connection etc etc.

There are more rich ppl with this wrong mentally than poor people. Those they gotten their achieve or wealth thru their parent or just academic result.

Our meritocracy is broken because incompetency ppl are unable to be removed because of this no blame culture.

Well for my case, definitely got no help from my parents. All from my own personal dedication to strive.

there are some true of the surface, even maybe one of core element that indicate a poor still staying poor. In realities, there are more complex than this, we're human we're not NPC we're not robot, people starting hate it, hardwork become worthless nowadays - what you done does not justify what you get. hey, u kw we're "asian"

Power (not limited to ruling power) is the primary element to divide poor and rich to keep our society running, when we have decent job but just enough for survive then inequality gap become bigger. same amount of money but the value getting smaller compare 10 yrs ago, this is greedy, people are exhausted, don blame people for quiet quitting or even moonlighting after work... the list can keep going on, it is happened when someone rip someone off; people created stable, orderly and harmony environment after decades, just one external force could destroy the effort that people done previously...

how to determine poor, enough for survive? keep downgrading lifestyle habbits? or what? or can choose to be happy? people choose to be happy, then someone tell you don't settle with the status quo. after all, you will found out people just keep contradicting themselves, and somewhere else just repeat same story again and again... thanks for reading my TLDR gibberish if you read till here, just wake up and suddenly "文思泉湧". :s13: :s13:

Not the bill gate bullcrap again... Also being mentally or physically challenged is not an excuse going by his logic. Not sure if left out systemic issues and the complexity of poverty.

For your case, you and I were blessed with a well governed country providing "world class" education system. Yes you had work hard but in the correct environment. It takes two hand to clap.

Right timing, right DISC/MBTI, right family circles, right friend circles, right opportunities, etc

Right DISC/MBTI connects to grabbing available opportunities, naturally "gam" types of opportunities, circles of friends and family

So how much is really your own effort, and how much is just about being able to be near to, identify, grab on to the right opportunities to start soaring the way you want it, without being encumbered by vices, addictions, time wasters?

End of the day all face the great Judge, the Creator of the heavens and the earth. Using this video's logic, using your logic, can also say, all are born into their parents' religion, but also no excuse for not choosing the right and only God of the universe, right?

One systemic issue we're dealing with is the continued subsistence lifestyle of those riding PMDs in groups. Should take away their PMDs.
