Barthez played at left-wing...totally cannot make it. My grandmother can do better!


The training session was a real eye-opener. Veron was oh-so-good with his control & passes. Him & Beckham were insanely fun to watch. Can't remember if Scholes was on the pitch, though.

There's a chance Fellaini & Herrera might stay on. They seem to take well to the coach's instructions. Squad players.

Depay & Janujaz would surely be given a chance to come good? After the succession of less-than-football-bright wingers - Nani, Bebe, Zaha - & one world-class flyer who was misused (Di Maria), the team is crying out for classy wingers.

i remember Arsene Wenger calling Francis Jeffers a Fox in the box. but he only scored 4 goals in 22 appearances before moving out of Highbury.

...but that highlight reel proves that he's more than that.

Plenty of goals from outside the box (with a few solo runs thrown in) & his hold-up play is good, too.

The classic foxes (not Leicester!) would be Inzaghi, Raul & Chicharito. Maybe even Romario.
