“United were ready to make the deal. For United it was okay, but the problem was always the player. Gyokeres, with all respect for Man Utd, wanted to go to Arsenal and made this desire very clear.

“So Gyokeres didn’t want to move to Man Utd and Gyokeres’ dream was Arsenal. But Sporting were pushing like crazy. There were three or four days where Sporting tried in every way to close the deal for Gyokeres to Man Utd, almost forcing the opportunity.

“But Gyokeres decided to wait, to resist, to be patient and then to join Arsenal as he wanted to do.”

Sporting was pushing Gyokeres to sign for Man Utd because Sporting liked to do business with Man Utd. It is good Man Utd didn't sign Gyokeres because if he is not interested to join Man Utd he will most likely not be successful at Man Utd. It is better to sign Sesko because he wanted to join Man Utd.

some players are too slow for epl like shaw, maguire and casemiro. they are better suited for mls or saudi. very hard to bring out the best of these type of players.

Shaw was never the same after all the injuries,, i think he was only good in first or two seasons.

Maguire ? if u expect him to run and up down.. he will not be suitable for any league.. he is a traditional central defender.. even the likes of Pallister, Bruce, Rio and Vidic will struggle to do it
