transportation is very convenience to town, i applied for Bukit Banjang BTO also

becos you get 2x expressway bus to town, 960 to Bugis and 190 to Orchard in less than 20 mins off peak hour, peak hour at most 35-40 mins

Have you seen the condition of those buses in the morning? Suggest you take one day off in the morning to go and try...definitely not as 'convenient' as you paint it to be. But each to his own la...and after all its still 3-4 years away. By then the MRT should have taken the load off the current bus services.

Have you seen the condition of those buses in the morning? Suggest you take one day off in the morning to go and try...definitely not as 'convenient' as you paint it to be. But each to his own la...and after all its still 3-4 years away. By then the MRT should have taken the load off the current bus services.

Currently I am stay in Bukit Panjang, the traffic is not that terrible, unless there is accident.. Journey for express way is around 15 mins for off peak, at most 30 mins for peak hour... And there is empty 190 start from block 604, i don't think the bus condition is bad.. Anyway, by comparing the price with other BTO project, this project rather cheap and since it will be connected with downtown line which will take 20 mins to reach newton, even faster than Bukit Batok... Overall i think it's a good project..

Bus 190 from BP to Scotts Road is about 30 mins itself, excl walking and waiting. 15 mins is more like for driving. If you're stopping at the end of Orchard Road like Suntec/City Hall, etc, then it's even further. It is true that in recent years, they have added the buses frequency so its not so bad. But sometimes, still gotta stand at the door kind. Going back home is also a problem if you take at Ion Orchard/Scotts Road there, cos it will be jam packed too.

Bukit Panjang

so far Bukit Panjang has 300 flat and 500 applicant for 5 rm
is the lowest applicant rate among all estate
and is non-matured so 1st and 2nd timer very high chance!

agree and disagree, overall still faster to go via expressway vs bukit timah to town via 171, becos bukit timah many school also jam, but as other reader mentioned once mrt ready this problem will be resolve in 3-4 yrs time, which bto estate did you apply?

What kind of showflat are u referring to ?? If u are talking about BTO showflats, HDB atrium have 1 area which they have setup a rough guide on how each 2,3,4,5 bedroom unit will look like, but it wont be the exact guide as floor plan might be different.

Lol why i didn't think of that option! too late now cannot edit poll anymore and are you applying bp too, please let me know upon your result at bp is out.

*I still prefer bp becos of the 2x buses 190 and 960 to town.
