@lazy999 the app only states the order processing time and not the nav rate. as such, there is no proof that the cs is wrong.

Let say submit on Tuesday 0855, order confirmed on Wednesday around 1400 onwards, which takes the NAV Price announced on Wednesday afternoon.

If submit on Tuesday 0905, order confirmed on Thursday around 1400 onwards, which takes the NAV Price announced on Thursday afternoon.

The chances of having the same NAV Price on two consecutive days are extremely low on MIG compared to MII and MISP.

ok. Not my first time. I usually buy MII on the cut off time to get the payout, then i will proceed to sell. I bought on 28 Jan, unit price was $9.58. So now i have to wait for a few more days.
Is this a good technique as opposed to just leaving funds there to rot ?

Almost all times i get back the same amount i sold and there is once i get back slightly more. I just want to receive payout that's all.

sorry for the confusion. the Mari cs is definitely right.
Haven't been following a thread but want a simple tldr.

So the price is based on the date I buy? Do I get the exact actual price or before or after or how it works?

Using SG Time, on business days, place buy/sell order at around 0830, you have around 10 hours to know the actual price you will be getting. Shortest possible time to get the actual price is around 9 hours 32 minutes if you buy at 0858. LBMA Gold Price AM comes in at 1830 on business days in London. Within the waiting period before 1830, Gold Price can still move.

So means buy 830am but actual price will only know 630pm same day?

Stucked on MII cruise ship for 3rd month straight including current month! 🤣
thanks for reinforcing that this investment is not for growth or to beat benchmark, but to enjoy consistent mthly payout.

@AnTiLooP both Canberra and jayven have shared their experiences that mii isnt suitable to buy and sell at short periods. this is because once the unit price falls a bit more than usual, it will negate the small gains as opposed to all the trouble of tradings. on the other hand, just leaving mii to rot (capital depreciates) will earn at least 4% pa (inclusive of +6% payouts).

Guess it's a long term thingy. I'll just leave it to rot then. When do you, as an outlier start to react should the nav tank ? What's your personal "that's it" tolerance ?
