Which I am not surprise. With Feds interest rate dropping and China stock market going up and up. I think many of the money are pulled out as well.
no ... they climbed up from around 760 million to 910 million during month of September ... might be due to the deposit promo around 10 sept

Today download latest LG Saveplus factsheet. Now the top 2 holdings are funds itself which means Saveplus is now a fund of funds. Such makeup take more fees leading to not so ideal returns.

LG Enhanced Liquidity 0.40% expense ratio
LG MMF 0.32% expense ratio
LG Saveplus itself 0.25% expense ratio

So the fund manager skills to handle dropping mas bills rate is like this hmmm.. their selling point is instant withdrawal 10k daily though so still got some use.

Now even eSaver 2 month 3.35% look more attractive option. I will add there for new monies. Readers hope you all have alternative if the Mari Invest rates keep dropping.

the only thing that matters is the current yield, not your entry price. this is not a stock.

i've withdrawn majority of my mari invest and will be placing into tiger for their 2months 6.8% promo

The entry price will determine the number of units you will have with x$ vested. For example, buying at $1.0448 with $100,000, you will be allotted approximately 95,712 units.

When the NAV of this fund increases, for example to $1.0478 after one month at a daily positive increase of $0.0001, your return will be $1.0478 X 95,712 units of the fund = $100,287.034. Your original vested amount was $100,000 and the yield is $287.034. If you annualize the amount will be approximately $3444.408 or 3.44%.

The entry price does determine the % return. If you had bought earlier your yield will definitely be higher as compared to buying at the current price. For the units that I bought on Dec 23 at $1.0142, my yield is approximately 3.7% PA.

Thats because you're treating it like a stock. The whole point of mmf is to generate at least higher yield than other safe passive investments current rate. In the past 4 weeks, the yield is at a low 3%. Past 7 days should be below 3%. Even with UOB One at 100k, the returns are already looking to be higher. No point to continue with this unless you got no other options

Maybe I could be wrong still, idk. But doesn't look attractive anymore. For me i'm in and out of this fund quite often due to liquidity within 1 day. So my entry price is definitely all over the place.

If u continue to hold for 1 full year, your yield on your original entry price will drop based on current trend of lower yield going forward. If u exit now, your can still maintain your 3.7% annualized yield over your past 9-10 months from Dec'23.

This is a unit trust. While it's yield is going lower, estimating it based on past 7 days is too short. your avg entry price = your invested amount ÷ no. of units.

The NAV for Mon 30 Sep to Fri 04 Oct 24 was $0.0007.
Last Wednesday to yesterday is below that.

Last Tuesday to Monday also below that.

let’s see last Thursday to today. Likely below that, too

I am not sure what’s the NAV now.

Comparing to moving to Esaver, e.g, does the price of entry matter? You get 3.x% immediately with Esaver based on your current price, not price of entry.

Esaver is savings, not investment. U r not buying anything for it. It gives fixed int within the promo period.

MariVest is not exactly investment. The only thing matter is its yield and it does not look good at all, even compared to saving. That just speaks how bad it is now.
