the uk govt quite correctly wants to promote share ownership among the population
the sg govt should follow suit - only problem which share
if local companies eg dbs it’s zero sum - shareholders if general public collectively demand higher returns which are obtained by cost cutting which affects their livelihoods
us firms - forex risk - sg economy does well currency will appreciate

if not for next 2 days of big tech earnings , i would say a dip is very close ....... % of stocks in s&p500 above 50ma peaked at 55% on the recent 2 week bounce .... friday-tuesday deteriorate again ... now at 47.4% ...... the 10.10 dip of 2.7% hit low of 37%
