nVidia has been doing nothing since last year Oct. I got a feeling it will start to run up after earnings.

Don't worry, funds are circulating among the Mag 7. Any sell off on any of the 7 is always an opportunity to reenter. Today is Microsoft, opportunity arrives to buy again.

Buy and hold is a very hard strategy to implement but the most lucrative if you hold the right one

Need to cultivate the mindset and ask why one invest in the company in the first place.

If fundamentals and macro environment improving, no reason to sell. Just let the stock take care of itself.

Of course, easier said then done. I feel if one have enough $$$ from income and elsewhere, then there is less pressure to budge.

I held BRK.B from 2008 to 2023. Only sold because need $$$ for other use.

It is the same story as Intel. Bad news caused the price to go down, then buyers scooped up, and the fall ended. Everyone is waiting at the side to scoop up when selling occurs.

Microsoft crashed -6%. Going to be the start of bursting and mag7 become mag0.

Soon it will be a chain reaction and the musical chair game will come to an abrupt ending.

You cherry picked Microsoft because it went down today but you chose not to mention the rally in Meta and Google.

You choose stock based on your narrative. It's ok. If you feel bearish, crash coming, go and short sell, sell put options, and so on. You can still make money if your call is right.

On the other hand, other people are super bullish, and do the exact opposite your strategy.

Therefore, everyone applies different strategy. There is no need to tell the whole world that the markets are crashing unless it is for your own benefits, i.e. let others sell to you cheap.

if believe in the company, stock price on uptrend and no change in marco or theme, don't sell.
if not, just buy index, average down everything it's 15-20% down, buy and hold.
