There was no kiss and make up. Elon realises that he has zero clout over Trump, so he backed off. Trump wants to focus on his big beautiful bill, he has no time for Elon's tantrums. There was no apology. WH staffers intervened before the fight turns uglier.

In the end, Elon didn't get what he wants; Elon is very unpopular and he carries zero political weight and could be disregarded by the Trump admin.

I expect their feud to escalate in the future. And if it does, it will hurt Elon more than it hurts Trump.
