Market continues to crash

hey guys current exchange rate is USD1 = SGD1.28, for those buying US stocks do u consider exchange rate too if imagine usd 1 = SGD 1? and not to mention if shares drop?

Good to consider FX risk especially when investing in foreign assets.

US stocks is an exception compared to the other foreign assets.

If you look at the DXY index, it is relatively sideways for decades. That means, USD can go up and go down within years. There is no clear down or uptrend in the longer term.

Regardless, US stocks are likely to outperform in SGD terms base on historical records.

It will a long time for that to happen. Decades probably.
