Before i post, i already tried all the suggested ways to overcome this.

Nothing helps

My game hung on one of the side missions. Damn...

Furthermore, the game became more laggy after the patch.

Now I have to put Origin to Offline in order to start the game normally. Plus, I need to put Origin back online after that. So troublesome.

What's wrong with BioWare and EA nowadays. They spent so many years to develop a flawed game. Even the patch is also flawed.

My problem was that the Tempest would not 'fly' to an area that was far away from the other planets.

The cutscene would freeze and I needed to CTRL+ALT+DEL to bring up the Task Manager to end the game manually.

I have read the comments on the EA forum regarding this patch issue but the temporary solutions are not applicable to everyone. Some gamers even requested refunds for this flawed game.

My experience with the new patch is system hang at some cut scene, some old graphic bugs still there. Game lags at some misson and planet travel still boring.

when going into mission that cannot be save and exit, cannot do half way and quit later than continue.

the game just cannot proceed on .. duh .. need to restart the whole mission to get everything and move on.

Just avoid the sphere of energy that will engulf the area where you are standing. It will strip off your shield immediately. Keep shooting and dashing to/fro. Don't remain in one place permanently.

That gigantic enemy is hard to kill.

Last night, I updated the game from Origin and I could start the game from there successfully.



I think it is a minor update to resolve the game launch issues.

Occasionally, I will get a long loading screen too!

Same, I had to save gta iv on two different slots just so i could unlock both endings without having to play it again. and this is also why i lost all of my data of dust an elysian tale.
