What do they mean when match price or absorb gst? o_O

Match price is when you go to a shop and found a gpu lets say $100.

And you go to the shop you wanna check, If he giving you $120. You ask them whether can they do a price match of $100 as the other shop give. If can they will price match. If not then too bad.

Some shops do not have gst receipt. They will call it so call absorb gst.

Just because they write "Absorb GST" doesn't mean shops really absorbed the tax cost. Some put it to attract buyers thinking that a shop is really selling at a cheaper price.

Unless you actually see the CP in the shop's POS/Excel sheet, you'll never know if they really absorbed GST or not. The only thing we know is, only one has managed to do it
