Mathematical degrees. Should I?

Hellooooo. So I am interested to apply for maths degrees but sadly my gpa 2.5 nia. I was thinking of TRYING NTU math major, I know it's difficult with my gpa like that LOL. So other than that I was thinking of unisim' but they only have part time lo. I prefer the NTU one la. My main concern is should I take maths degree or not (career options) and I'm already prepared for the stress problem so don't worry. Another concern is whether I should try the NTU one?

Mmm I'm more interested in pure maths rather than accounting type.

Unisim offers a degree in mathematics:
BSc Mathematics

IMO, with that GPA, you can only consider unisim. No offense or anything. But with a 2.7, you wont get into NUS/NTU/SMU/SUTD. Its just way too far off the mark.

My question for you will be what you want for your career? The way you write are like telling us that you will be taking Engineering course so that you can have a lot of career option in engineering. However the true is Engineering have different field such as Civil, Chemical & etc which you cannot just cross over to it without proper education/training.

I assume you do not have extensive relevant experience and no other credentials aside from your 2.5 gpa.
You have ZERO chance of entering NTU. But feel free to apply.

I am really not sure if UniSIM will accept you to their Part-Time Mathematics. And do note that it is non-honours. Your gpa is really kinda low.

Please strengthen your skills and buff up your credentials, there are many options nowadays, ranging from polytechnic post-diploma courses to SkillsFuture courses in poly & uni.
