Dayuuuummm....I am so tempted to get this...but it's a really bad idea to buy during this period, right? Who knows how much more the price will drop once the Pascal cards are released...

I don't know why people are so afraid to get it now. Shouldn't one be buying what one needs now instead of buying when the price drop? :s22:

The thing is, you mentioned "it is a bad period to get now since pascal is launching... who knows how much the card will drop?" Yes the price will definitely drop but if one needs it now, he will have to get it now regardless of whether pascal is launching or not.

If you can wait, yes of cos go ahead and wait for pascal to launch and the current cards will have the price drop. If that is the case, then you shouldn't be tempted by the price now since you know the price will drop further after the launch of pascal provided you don't need the card urgently now.

Ok, mate, appreciate the advice, but I was just asking an innocent question about whether it's a bad period to buy now. No need to give me a lecture :s22:

Isn't there a rumor that Nvidia is ending the line for GM200 and GM204? All manufacturers have ceased production.

In SG, GTX 9xx Series don't need to drop price can just stop shipping in.

On other hand, the 10xx Series just need to sell higher price so that the current remaining old stocks look cheaper

:D
