i do not agree with the judgement and i'm not asking for "Eutopia". wat i want is a hope tat edmw remain a open place for light hearted fun.
edmw is a colourful place which makes it popular and do not discriminate/ look down on ppl who like different things than u. the content of the thread in question is relatively mild by edmw standard in edmw, any mods who frequent edmw should be able to attest to it.
this thread in question span many months with consistent content with multiple positive responses and now suddenly it consider too lewd? if a certain individual suddenly deem the content unpalatable to himself/herself, the entire forum will have to be manicured to this person's taste? then how abt the ts and ppl who like the content? i know the age old reply will be there r limited mods and it only come to mod attention when threads r reported but is this thread considered lewdness serious/problematic enough to deserve moderation attention for intervention?
i like to remind again the mods u r to serve the forum, dont just make quick "easy" decisions without consideration to ppl who make effort to contribute to the content in edmw. pls also do not throw the book bec i am mod, the rules are up to my interpretation i think its wrong so it is wrong no question asked, u obey or u leave, discussion close to brush user feedback off. i hope i can be considered a cooperative constructive forum user and a friend to the mods here not as opponent /trouble maker.
it takes effort to post threads especially multiple posts, time and again my threads has disappeared without notice i didnt even know wat was wrong and i know i'm not alone. forum mods here are ppl who are familiar with the forum and should know the difference on threads deem serious enough for intervention and threads tat r not. consider my account have been active here for more than a decade, posted all kinds of content with more than 200k posts, i dont think i have ever been a problem in the forum and i like to think i'm contributing to the colourful content to make edmw such a interesting place.
it brings me absolutely no joy to come here to raise protest. as a powerless user here i can only hope for mods here to be fair...not just to complainer but also be fair to ts too. note i'm generally supportive of mod actions and as always i believe mod action is necessary to keep forums in order however there should also be creative room left for users bec ultimately the forum exist for users. explicit porn of cos should have no place here but lewdness however is up to subjective interpretation. the direction of edmw is entirely in your hands, where u like to go is not within my control, just as complainer can raise concern, i too the ts also like to be able to raise my side of the view and i hope there will be no discrimination.
