Yeah... I wish to know too

Hi guys,

I saw earlier in this thread that Maybank give rewards for paying income taxes via GIRO but could not find anything on their website. The link in this thread did not work. Does anyone know if this is still up and running?

Just wondering if anyone purchase from Dell online and use a Maybank CC for instalment payment?

Does this contribute this Saveup account in anyway? Thanks.

For this saveup account, as long as I fulfilled the 3 products (Salary, Giro ($300) and car loan) I will automatically entitle the 3% interest right?

Do I have to call them to confirm or so? Thanks.

For Car loan and giro to the Car company counted as 2 products?

if car loan is from maybank, that is one product. giro to maybank is not considered as one product.

if car loan is not from maybank, how to consider as one product? giro to other banks can be considered as one product.

Smart saver and saveup are saving products. While the $700 spending you are talking about is credit card rebates.

They fall under different bucket.

My apologies. I meant boc family cc. Now that they have changed to $700 minimum spending. It would be hard for those trying to hit $500 spending only to qualify for the smartsaver cc bonus.

The cash rebate of BOC Family Visa card (5-10%) is still far better than Maybank Platinum Visa Card (3.3%)

I think his concern is that the 5%-10% will only comes in if u spent 700$.

If he can only spend $500 per month...it is better off using Maybank Plat visa

Why not consider UOB One Card and account? $500 spend per month yields 3.33% rebates.
