Can it be just two giro instead of 3? Seems maybank one don't need 3, just need to meet total giro sum right?
Yes. For maybank saveup just need to meet outward giro bill payment of min $300 regardless of the number of giro.

Hi guys, I trying to set up GIRO to make bill payment from my Maybank Saveup account. So I go to http://info.maybank2u.com.sg/person...ents-remittances/payments/interbank-giro.aspx However the form from the website have Maybank as the Billing organisation. Shouldn't Maybank be the Financial institution instead of Billing organisation? Am I mistaken or Maybank has made a mistake?
I think you have to get the GIRO form from the billing account origin.
For my case, I filled up the OCBC credit card and BOC credit card GIRO forms ( taken from OCBC and BOC respectively , maybe online also available ), and submit with Maybank SaveUP as the Financial Institution.
actually only need one GIRO setup, with min $300, I set up 2, in case one card is not in use ( eg OCBC )
maybe that online form is for payment of Maybank cards and products?
Seems like it's the next possible candidate.
But platinum visa credit card doesn't give good reward.
Hi all, a noob question, does the account comes with a debit mastercard? Thanks!![]()

I am considering Saveup + Platinum visa as an alternative to OCBC360 + 365 card. Mainly because my spend habits have changed (reduced).
Can I just confirm as follows:
1. Spend $500 per month per quarter and receive $30 cashback, i.e.: 2% cashback for cc spend
2. Assume $50k in Saveup account. Achieve $500 cc spend (as above) + Salary credit (min 2k) + $300 bill payment (my student loans) and receive (2.75 + 0.246 (wghtd avg)) = 3.00% interest on savings a/c. Works out to $129.8
Total of $139.8 per month on $500 spend. That's around 3.2% annual return on this account. Would this be correct?
Also, any chance these TnC will be revised anytime soon?
Isn't Maybank Platinum either spend $300 monthly get $30 per quarter or spend $1000 monthly get $100 per quarter?

Need min $500 for maybank saveup though. So if cannot meet the $1000 spending then have to settle for just $30 quarterly rebate with $500 monthly spending

Can I giro pay the maybank platinum credit card? Which is $500spending. In other words, one stone hit two criteria. 1) $500 credit card spend 2) $300 giro outwards
