yup he didnt mention where, search through the whole thread, cant find any information on where to buy also.

Can share which specific amazon retailer you got from, found 3 to 5 selling the same thing. one is listed as WhatsGear (Shipped from Hong Kong)

tried to order the ant157 antenna online at amazon, total showing $38.19. Haven't include shipping fee from US to Vpost. Is this the correct pricing? seems a bit expensive

Items: SGD 38.19
Shipping & handling: SGD 0.00
Total before tax: SGD 38.19
Estimated tax to be collected:* SGD 0.00
Order total: SGD 38.19

I bought directly from Amazon, total ~$42 including shipping by Amazon

but out of stock already, so now Amazon points you to other sellers (who dont ship directly to SG)

Amazon dont ship to Singapore. You still need to pay Vpost about $20 right?

Is this really an ASUS product? This is not even listed on Ausu's Taiwan website...

5ghz keep dropping

Hi Guys,

i have headache after changing to this router. set 2 diff id for 2.4ghz and 5ghz and my Note 2 always switch to 2.4ghz, i have to manually reconnect to 5ghz, but after a while, it jump back to 2,4ghz. if i forget the 2.4ghz network, it will auto jump to 4G :(
how to make it auto-connect and stick to 5ghz when i got home? very sian everytime have to manually connect to wifi.

i am on starhub ultimate 100mbs and the speed for 5Ghz is about 50+mbs, sometimes drop to 30+ despite i got 2-3 bar strong signal...

any bro can advise? Thanks

It will be more frustrated if the 5ghz keep dropping. The signal is not very strong but if you like you can off data ad forget 2.4ghz network. So only 5ghz is connected. I gave up when I am in MB.

From my experience if you have set channel 149 and above, you have to manually connect to 5ghz on note ii/s3/note 8.

And yes after some time of inactivity, it will dc itself from Wi-Fi. Only solution is setting the channels to lower range 36-48.

If you are doing speed test on your phone to determine the speed, don't be over bother by the speed. Many bottlenecks within the phone itself to give a good representation.
