Just to confirm, bridge mode is not available for this device right? i.e. connect to Wireless AP then share the connection via Ethernet... wanted to plug to media player which only have RJ45 port, but can't run cable. (only saw connect to wireless and share wirelessly, or via USB)

2. Fix Ethernet Adapter mode:change DHCP server will cause process bar abnormal on web page.

3. change the dhcp lease time from 0 second to 1800 seconds, avoid user occupy IP address.

Hi,

First of all, this is definitely a great product which will be very useful in quite a number of scenarios. However when I tried to do the "Wireless Repeater" mode, I realized it is unable to connect to hidden wireless network even through I have create a default profile to connect.

Initially I thought it was a fluke so I broadcast my home network and then it connect. But disconnect again when it's back to hidden.

Will ASUS be helping to do something about this? :D

P.S I'm currently using the latest firmware (3.0.0.35)

Dear akc850,

You mean WL330NUL> Wireless Repeater > hidden mode and other device unable to connect?

Or

Router hidden SSID mode and WL330NUL unable to connect?

Let me test and get back to you asap. Thank you for your support.

Hi,

Maybe I didn't put it clear enough in the earlier reply.

In short, WL-330NUL failed to connect to existing hidden SSID network in "Router mode".

If I understand correctly, that will actually refer to the 2nd scenario that you depicted above.

Hi all

Recently purchased the WL-330NUL.

My question is:

When in hotspot mode how do you change the private wifi channel if it is the same as the hotel/internet wifi?

Using the 3.0.0.35 firmware, under the wifi settings there is no option to configure this.

Anyone else come across this?

DHCP server on ASUS WL-330NUL

Hello, I would like to use this device as a USB ethernet adapter, but I find that even in this mode, the DHCP server is active and it creates a big problem in my network, they can not even decide on the address class to use (I use 192.168.0.x while the device works on 192.168.1.x). it is possible to disable the DHCP server?
In addition, the LAN address of the device and its configuration web page is 192.168.1.1; it's possible to change that address, as you would on any normal router?
my fw version is the 3.0.0.35.

Thanks for your attention
Flavio
