Mazda CX5 Android Auto

Guys, just curious. For CX5, there are several models:

• 2.0 (A)
• 2.0 (A) Premium
• 2.0 (A) Luxury

Does all the models above support Android Auto / Apple CarPlay?

I'm thinking of getting a second hand CX5 probably registered around 2018 - 2020...

Any comments?

Now only standard and premium For brand new. The 2020 model all comes with android and Apple car play.

For Used car, I recall Mazda provided an option to upgrade the firmware for android and Apple CarPlay if it doesn’t come with one. How it works I am not sure.

The new model very expensive. Went to test drive CX30, the drive is great, the price is not though.

So see if I can crawl in a used car CX5.

got one forum thread and carousell got pple offer to install. you can go back to TEK to request.

I did it myself by ordering parts from the web.

Got difference. The new ones are IPM3 (2020 onwards?). Old ones IPM2. I don't know if there's a difference with android connectivity. But definitely a reason to quote you lower when reselling.
