Currently using memory clean to monitor and manage my 4GB RAM allocations... Most of the time it shows 100MB memory free with me just running YouTube + a couple of windows pages.

Is this normal? Should i keep on 'clean' the memory when it goes down that low?

Dont need to worry, osx manages memory allocation automatically. For more info, see OS X Mavericks: About Activity Monitor

You may want to check for "swap used" which is an indication that your physical memory may not be sufficient. Anyway, ram is soldered for mba, so there nothing much you can do, besides shutting down applications that you no longer need.
