chatuchak is really hot. i also dont really like but end up like most trip to bkk also go.

u can go half day chatuchak den half day union mall which is air conditioned.. abit like far east plaza but with lesser crowd den platinum mallm

I find union mall more for thais instead of foreigners..

Platinum mall - u can find alot of singaporeans there

Actually MBK got things to buy or not? What to buy in MBK?

I remember last time i went there, mostly pirated stuff.

nothing to buy leh, alot of things are expensive and u can get it at chatuchak....

mainly go there for food

MBK got hotel ? the nearest is pathuwan princess if I rmb correctly ...
review not bad, but is 4.5 to 5 stars hotel ....
price superior room abt 100 per ntie ...

have u tried Prathumwan Princess hotel before?

the swimming pool very big lol
think is half the size of olympic swimming pool

never stayed bfore, over my bduget liao
120+ sgd per nite superior 34m2 wo breakfsat
or 160+sgd per nite with breakfast
near mbk think have a walkway to mbk mall

Mercure better. Haha obviously since more ex. Ibis not v gd, shower area small and toilet bowl got choked.

Ibis/Mercure together we call it Combo. if you look at ibis worldwide their design / room size are all about the same.

novotel also ... be it which novotel in bangkok, or in singapore lol
also about the same look

Mecure room is quite good although lighting rather dim... location is good w 7-11 on the ground floor.
Holiday Inn express further down the road can be another option...

also about the same look

ibis price wise not very budget if you don't snag the promo. it's only cheaper in bkk. their prices are to me quite crazy for the standard in other cities like tokyo, kyoto, seoul. there are other chains/hotels with better value.

yup, novotel same look even in athens. shitty neighborhood though. actually i quite like the novotel look. maybe used to it.

anyway, much better than the standard look of toyoko inn in japan.

one thing no like about novotel is that their standard, superior, executive, no bath tub ... only suit have
think oni novotel siam square, their lowest tier have bath tub, think cox is older hotel , compared to fenix and ploenchit and platinum ...
