Can you all advice me which to get?

This is my first time buying Apple laptop.

My main purposes are for schools assignments and web surfing.

The 13" MBP is using previous generation's processors.

You should consider the 13" macbook air or 13" rMBP.

I thought the MBP processors are the same as rMBP?

No. Apple dropped their classic 15" line and left last generations Ivy Bridge processors in the classic 13".

You can check the specs out. It says HD 4k graphics, which would not be the case if they were the same.

My advice is to get the middle 13" rMBP with the educational discount.
